Meet The E-Board

Sam is a current senior from Dixson, CA graduating in Spring 2025 and serving as our chapter president this year. She majors in Integrated Communications Marketing and minors in Political Science and General Business. Sam is excited to support others in PRSSA as they shape their own career paths and discover opportunities in the realm of communications. 

McKenzie serves as PRSSA’s Vice President. She is a junior majoring in Public Policy Leadership and Integrated Communications Marketing from Concord, NC. In addition to her role in PRSSA, McKenzie is an Ole Miss Ambassador, member of Kappa Delta sorority, NewsWatch Ole Miss Weather Anchor, Study Abroad Ambassador, and Miss University. McKenzie hopes PRSSA can be a pathway of student involvement and show the importance of communication. 

Liza serves as PRSSA's PR Director and is from Baton Rouge, LA. She graduated from the School of Journalism and New Media with a major in Integrated Communications Marketing and a minor in General Business in May 2024. Liza is a graduate student pursuing her Master's degree in IMC and is currently working as a Graduate Assistant for the University of Mississippi Office of Development. 

Emily Lin is a Finance Major from Manhattan, NY. Emily decided to join PRSSA to grow in leadership, she hopes Public Relations will help strengthen her skills and knowledge for her career. She hopes PRSSA is a rewarding experience and wants to leave being a well-communicating individual. After graduation, Emily wants to pursue her MBA degree abroad.

Amarie serves as this year's outreach chair. She is from Memphis, TN, majoring in integrated marketing communications with a specialization in sports communication, and she plans to graduate in Spring 2025. A piece of advice Amarie has for incoming PRSSA members is to believe in your ideas and move in faith, not fear. Her dream is to one day have her own marketing firm and connect more with others who share her passion for public relations. 

Sandip is a graduate student from Urlabari, Nepal, majoring in Integrated Marketing Communications. He is a Graduate Ambassador and the Symposium Director for the Graduate Student Council. Sandip advises new members that the more curious you are, the more you will benefit. 

​Virginia is an Integrated Marketing Communications major from Meridan, MS, serving as this year's Fundraising Chair. She has been a member since 2022 and is a part of Ad Club, serving as Membership and Operations Director, Ambassadors for the School of Journalism and New Media, and the Ole Miss Young Alumni Council Events Committee. During her undergrad years, Virginia was also a member of the Ole Miss Choir, and her dream job is to go into entertainment public relations!

Margi is a current senior from Knoxville, TN, majoring in Southern Studies with a minor in Psychology, graduating in Spring 2025. Her goals for new members are to make new connections and learn more about opportunities to improve communications and networking. Working in the Music business are her plans after graduation and hopes future members discover all the amazing opportunities PRSSA offers!
