Meet The E-Board

Carleigh Harbin is a second-year IMC Graduate student and she is serving as our chapter president this year. Carleigh won the highest honor a PRSSA member can hold, which is the PRSSA Gold Key Award. She is excited to see the PRSSA chapter grow and attend ICON. 

Caroline Tibbs serves as PRSSA’s Vice President. She is a senior IMC student from Diamondhead, MS and is specializing in public relations. In addition to her role in PRSSA, Caroline is also an ambassador for the School of Journalism and New Media, the Director of Graphic Design for RebelTHON, a peer consultant at the UM Speaking Center, and a member of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College. She hopes PRSSA can be a beneficial way for students to learn more about PR and the many opportunities within that field. 

Emily Lin is a Finance Major from Manhattan, NY. Emily decided to join PRSSA to grow in leadership, she hopes Public Relations will help strengthen her skills and knowledge for her career. She hopes PRSSA is a rewarding experience and wants to leave being a well-communicating individual. After graduation, Emily wants to pursue her MBA degree abroad.

Emily Powell originally from Cherry Hill, New Jersey, is currently a second-year graduate student enrolled in the IMC Masters program. She is expected to graduate in May 2024. Emily became a member of PRSSA to broaden her professional network within the realm of Public Relations. Following her graduation, she envisions a career in the realm of digital marketing. 

Aaron Jolly is a senior IMC student at Ole Miss. He stays busy with his involvement in PRSSA, IMC Ambassadors and UM Ad Club. After he graduates, Jolly hopes to work agency-side and develop integrated campaigns that challenge his marketing and communications skills. 

My name is Travis Coopwood and I’m from Cleveland, MS. I am a senior Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) major with a Public Relations emphasis here at the University of Mississippi. In my free time, I love to cook, write, and spend time outside when I’m able. I am a School of Journalism and New Media Ambassador, a Talbert’s Fellow for SOJNM, hold an executive position on the Student Alumni Council, member of Chi Omega sorority, and am Outreach Chair for PRSSA. This summer, I interned at Sheridan Public Relations in Franklin, TN and had the best time engaging with some incredible PR professionals. I have absolutely loved my time here at Ole Miss, but look forward to the upcoming postgrad chapter in my life as I enter and learn more about the PR world! 

Jiwon Lee is from Oxford, Mississippi. She earned Master's Degrees in Music Education, Flute Performance, and Violin Performance at the University of Mississippi in May. She is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the University of Mississippi in 2018. She served as the drum major of the University of Mississippi marching band, The Pride of the South, for two years and as principal flutist and violinist for seven years. After teaching at public school systems for a year, she returned to Oxford to pursue her Master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications at Ole Miss. She is currently working as a Graduate Assistant for University Development.
